About This Car:
The 1939 Ford Deluxe Woodie Wagon offered here is one of the most desirable models ever made.  1939 Woodies are not only very rare and hard to come by, they are also one of the best looking Woodies ever produced.  The 1939 model years are not always available on the market for sale so this is a great opportunity to acquire one now.  This is an absolutely breathtaking example and a very well sorted driver.  Equipped with a 1951 Mercury Flathead Engine, which was just recently tuned and a 3-Speed on the floor manual transmission with Columbia Overdrive.  85% of the Exterior Wood is Original and in Excellent Condition.  The interior is immaculate as well.  This car was already in great condition when the collector acquired it in 2016 but decided to have an 18-month custom restoration done to have it meet their standards and to make the car safe to enjoy.  It has been built to be driven and has been equipped with seatbelts throughout. 

That 18-month restoration consisted of the following… Engine and Drivetrain. Exhaust. Wheels and Suspension. Fuel System. Brake System. Ignition System with Original Style Spark Plug Wiring.  Custom Electrical Wiring with Original Wiring Harness Replication.  Dual Carburetors shipped to Florida for a Complete Rebuild.  Original Columbia Overdrive Refurbished.  All new brake system with front disc brakes, original rear axle with refurbished drum brakes.  New 15-inch radial tires and wheels.  Custom Burlwood Overlay of Original Dash and Steering Wheel by Juliano’s in New York.  Included is the working Original 1939 Woodie Clock retrofitted to Glove Box.  Custom powder coating of all restoration parts. Original Front End Suspension and Original 16-inch wheels are also available upon request.
