Founder / Owner
Born in Pennsylvania and raised with an East Coast work ethic. Dane attended the University of Delaware, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Leadership and Consumer Economics. His passion for the automotive world started at a very young age, detailing cars in grade school for executives and CEO’s so that he could get closer to the cars he dreamed of once owning. By the time Dane graduated high school he already started ‘Professional Class’ and had an elite clientele built strictly around the High End Automotive Industry. Eleven years later, selling the business, so that he could move onto other ventures in the automotive industry on the West Coast. During his time on the East Coast, he also worked directly for Charles Cawley, the founder and CEO of MBNA Corporation. For many years Dane helped manage and maintain his highly prestigious car collection. Charles mentored him and helped build the foundation to which he uses everyday. Charlie’s motto was always “Think of yourself as a Customer” and that is exactly what Dane lives by in his business practices.
After later moving to California, Dane was hired by duPont Registry to be their Account Executive of West Coast Operations and Sales, managing the entire state of California. During his time with duPont Registry he built strong relationships with car enthusiast and dealerships all over the nation. From managing the most prestigious car dealerships to helping some of the most elite sell their private collections. He later was head hunted by Ferrari and Maserati of San Diego to be their Sales Manager for over 2 years.
After years in the automotive industry Dane has brought together his wealth of knowledge, attention to detail and passion for the world’s finest vehicles by opening Motor Car Company. In the automotive world people know Dane for selling numerous car collections all over the world. His discipline, Rolodex, marketing strategies, selling skills and experience have built him an impeccable reputation. Dane is also an active car collector and his personal collection includes some of the rarest cars in the world.
