About This Car:
The previous model was the Mercedes-Benz 300 CE-24 Cabriolet, built until 1993 and succeeded by the Mercedes E320 Cabriolet in 1994. These rare cars were mostly hand built on a bespoke assembly line and cost over $77,000 when new. Just 1,698 were sold in the US for 1994. The W124 model replaced the blunt W123 model and featured a coefficient of drag as low as .028 thanks to the aerodynamic nose, smooth body, and belly pans.

The single wiper employed an eccentric cam to enable to sweep almost to the windshield corner. Optional rear headrests could fold down when not needed to improve visibility. The exhaust was also fitted with the first oxygen sensor to enable the engine to run more efficiently.

These cars were top of the line in technology, styling, reliability and safety when built new.  They are beautiful cars to drive with the top up or down, giving you a great driving experience.  In recent years the W124 E320 has become more and more collectible.

This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet was sold new at Phil Smart Mercedes-Benz in Seattle, WA and spent most of its life in the greater Seattle area until 2014. After that it resided in California. It has a clean CARFAX and servicing stamps from 4/15/1994 at 1,831 miles through 76,000 miles. There are also additional service records and service reports up to 95,008 miles. A recent service was completed on 5/17/2022 at 97,260 miles which included a safety inspection, and a new fuel pump was installed. The car is fully detailed and ready to be enjoyed.
