About This Car:
We love selling cars like this one.  Offered here is a stunning 1959 Bentley S1 Continental Flying Spur.  One of only 3 left-hand drive, four-light S1 Continental Flying Spurs produced.  Manufactured by H.J. Mulliner & Co., LTD in Chriswick, London.  This car was specially built for Rolls-Royce Inc for the New York Auto Show.  Special features via the order reference sheet are for use in the USA and are listed below in bullet point fashion.  Records from the Rolls-Royce Foundation shows this car left England aboard the S/S Andria, arriving in the US on 3/4/1959 for display at the New York Auto Show. After the show Rolls dealer J.S. Inskip delivered the car to its first owner Vincent H. Shea of Manhattan.

In 2011 this Bentley made its way back to England to have an extensive mechanical overhaul by marque specialists Padgett Motors Engineers in England.  It came back to the US shortly after to be enjoyed and cared for.  The San Diego collector we received the car from also had the car gone through by Dugan Enterprises during 2020-2021 totaling just under $20,000 in service work (all service invoices are on file for the work completed). These cars are very special. The attention to detail and styling throughout is a true work of art. This car is fully detailed and ready to go.  She drives like a dream.
